"With over 100,000 people each year waiting for a kidney transplant,

This is the book that every kidney patient will want potential donors to read"

"It is a whirlwind of emotions going through a kidney transplant and the gift of life someone can give you is truly amazing. The sacrifice of the donor family is something special, to give someone a second chance to live a normal life, and not be dictated by dialysis is amazing"

About the Author

Rabbi Ari Sytner, M.Ed., LSW

In addition to being a father, husband, CEO, social worker, PhD candidate, consultant, therapist, Huffington Post blogger, influencer and rabbi, Ari is an altruistic kidney donor.

As just an ordinary person, Ari traversed a year-long journey culminating in the donation of a kidney to a total stranger. It was during this process that he quickly realized the pathway to donation was a very unclear and discouraging road. With over 100,000 people each year in need of a kidney, all of whom tend to beg their friends and neighbors to consider donation, most wait, but do not find someone willing to make this enormous gift. Ari's journey was a struggle of skepticism, fused with his altruistic and compassionate nature. This book is an effort to share the curious and vulnerable journey and empower potential donor's to ask the tough questions and have a clear roadmap that will simplify the process of what is involved in kidney donation.
